In a lengthy WSJ article about Uniqlo's Tadashi Yanai, the retailer's founder and president talks two soon-to-open stores in San Francisco and New Jersey but does not mention Los Angeles. Both stores are slated to open this fall, and a US e-commerce site is also in the works. Yanai also says that he wants to be the biggest retailer in the world and aims to boost Uniqlo's sales from their current level of $12 million to $50 million.
