A lone tear trickles down our eye as we gear up for Hester Street Fair's final event in LA. From the Andy Dick-approved debut to the Busy Phillips-favored night market to a super-cool design show, we'll miss the fest's many inspiring vendors and parties.
Before packing up and heading back to New York, co-founder SuChin Pak is hooking Angelenos up with a pretty sweet parting gift. This Saturday, August 25 from 2 to 10pm, stop by HSF's finale event to score merch from local talents, meet Mr. Dick (he's back!) and to catch a host of rocktastic performances by Peaking Lights, Beachwood Sparks, Regal Degal, Partime + Dublab's Turquoise Wisdom, and the one and only Andrew WK. Pak also has a special message for Racked LA readers:
"The Hester Hollywood Markets really allowed us to try new things that we would never have been able to do in New York. Thanks to LA's car culture, we hosted more vendors than we've ever handled. We also discovered how magical a summer night in Hollywood could be. My whole family came to LA to help string thousands of lights together for our first night market, so watching people sitting and enjoying the sun setting will always be how I remember our time here. The energy of our vendors and staff putting together the last market has an intense buzz, so I'm looking forward to the final performance!"
