Old Navy has claimed a corner on Beverly and Gardner—but despite the official-looking signage, this one's only temporary. A weirded-out informant, who sent the accompanying photos, writes:

The totally jinxed southeast corner of Beverly and Gardner (by the Grove) seems jinxed no more. What had been a revolving door of random furniture stores now seems to be the future home of an Old Navy. The exterior was painted in a crazy blue and orange pattern last week, and as I drove by at noon today there was a crane installing the sign.
The store is a pop-up to promote Old Navy's denim collection and will be the scene of a Luke Perry-hosted party this Thursday. It will then open to the public Friday, August 24 through Sunday, August 26th. Perry appears in the retailer's latest back-to-school ad campaign along with fellow 90210 alumni Jennie Garth and Jason Priestley.
