New York retailers are really liking the looks of Los Angeles. Just this summer the Hester Street Fair set up shop in Hollywood, Scoop opened its first Cali store in Brentwood and Gant selected a spot on Abbot Kinney in Venice while Leonard Opticians and Nars have announced plans for West Side outposts. Now we hear that indie shop In God We Trust is interested in our city.
Store owner Shana Tabor revealed her thoughts on the subject in an interview with our sister site Racked NY a few days ago. "I sort of flip and flop, and ironically the Ace is opening in Los Angeles and they've asked us to take a spot there, which I really wanna do. Or I would love to have a space on Abbot Kinney but I don't know how I would make that work." Downtown LA vs Abbot Kinney—which location do you think she should pick?
