Whoa: The story of why shoe brand Sigerson Morrison mysteriously disappeared for awhile last season is kind of scandalous. The short version is that founders Kari Sigerson and Miranda Morrison's dealings with Marc Fisher, who bought the company in 2006, went extremely sour and in 2011 Fisher fired the duo. The Sigerson Morrison label will live on; it's being designed by an in-house staff rather than the actual Sigerson and Morrison, who now have no claim to the name.
