Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Lisa Kline is a retailer, merchandiser and designer with an eye for what's sexy, cool, and hip. The founder of Lisa Kline, Lisa Kline Men and Lisa Kline Kids on Robertson is now in the process of updating her website and launching Vault Marketplace, a year-in-the-making project that she says is going to be "the coolest online shopping experience." Here, she fills us in on her home décor go-to in Santa Monica.
"I love this home store in Santa Monica nestled next to the Ivy at the Shore. Carlyle Design has great furniture from oversize couches and cool tables to lamps, frames, pillows, candles, shells, books and more! I always find interesting and unique items there to add to my home to make it feel special and warm. Carlyle Design is a pleasure to shop in as it is a lifestyle store with a beach feel. It will inspire you and give you direction to make your home more unique. I love buying gifts from Carlyle Design as well, they are always a big hit"
