LA boutique chainlet Madison has opened a shop dedicated to teen apparel. The idea for the store, located at 1017 Swarthmore Ave in the Palisades, sprung up when owners Emily and Mark Goldstein found they had difficulties shopping for their teenage daughter, Jordan. As Emily told WWD, "It's either too young, too cute or inappropriate." (Has she ever tried Brass Plum?)
Named Madison t, it's stocked with clothes from J Brand, Splendid, Equipment, Wildfox and more contemporary labels. For the most part, tees are under $100 and dresses are less than $200—prices to satisfy a teen budget, albeit a decently-sized one.
