Hollywood star and activist Olivia Wilde is known for her green lifestyle. She was voted "Sexiest Vegetarian" by PETA in 2010 and was a nominee again this year. She's also involved in a number of charities and documents her philanthropic efforts on her personal blog, Wilde Things. Given that Alternative Apparel shares a similar focus, it was only a matter of time before the celebrated lifestyle apparel brand and actress joined forces for a cause.

Wilde and her "partner-in-good" Barbara Burchfield present Alternative's limited-edition "Message Bag"—a unisex backpack/crossbody hybrid that can be adorned in a variety of ways. The $138 bag is available at the brand's flagship store in Venice (1337 Abbot Kinney Blvd) and a portion of the proceeds benefit the Academy of Peace and Justice, a secondary school in Haiti. Watch a video on the making of the bag here and swing by Alternative Apparel Venice to buy it.
