CENTURY CITY—We're not sure what spurred it, but it'd be great for dog owners if it became a trend: LAist reports that the Westfield Century City mall has built a 1,200-square-foot dog park next door to Macy's. The park is restricted to just small dogs (24 inches long and under) and will open this weekend. [LAist]

GLENDALE—A sale-minded shopper sends along the following report from H&M at the Americana at Brand, where it sounds like they are just giving stuff away: "Tons on sale including conscious collection starting at $10 (like the Mary Katrantzou-esque floral dress) and the tulle multi-tier dress for $150. Even Marni! The patent leather tops are $20 now and I spotted one brown print tie-neck dress for half off. Fashion Star dresses are $10 to 20. Lots of great summer pieces for $5." [Racked Inbox]
