Rarely does aspirational mother-child style blog The Glow deliver retail news, but a recent post on Maryam Nassir Zadeh featured an interesting tidbit that merited sharing.
Zadeh is the proprietor of a gallery-like shop on NYC's Lower East Side that's beloved by many fashionable women for its mix of coveted designers like Carven, Electric Feathers, Mociun, Isabel Marant and Hussein Chalayan. Her store has been talked up everywhere from The Selby to Vogue. She runs the boutique along with her partner in work and life, Uday Kak.
According to The Glow, Zadeh and Kak, along with their daughter Anaïs: "will soon trade the busy streets of Manhattan for the palm trees and bougainvillea of Los Angeles (where Zadeh grew up)." Will that mean a West Coast Maryam Nassir Zadeh outpost? It's an exciting prospect, that's for sure.
