Big news in the world of celebrity hair styling: Tracey Cunningham and Neil Weisberg are opening a new salon together. Named Mèche (French for "lock of hair"), it will debut in Beverly Hills by November.
Cunningham worked with Weisberg previously at Neil George before jumping ship for Byron & Tracey. She says of their decision to open a new salon: "We just wanted to do something together. The space became available, and we decided to fall in love again after a divorce." WWD reports that at Mèche, highlights will be priced from $225 and cuts from $150. Despite their bold-faced client lists, Cunningham says that they want the place to feel approachable. "We're very friendly people. Neil greets everybody. I talk to everybody. We’re not snotty." One wonders what their former partners Byron Williams (pictured) and Amanda George think of the whole thing.
