Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
SANTA MONICA—The Happiness store at Fred Segal Santa Monica is opening a Cheap Monday pop-up of sorts, and they're throwing a party to celebrate. As of the beginning of August, the retailer, who's long stocked the Swedish brand, will be devoting half of their store space for Cheap Monday goods (some new items are pictured above). Stop by on Saturday, August 4th from 6 to 9pm to enjoy tunes, PBRs and of course, to shop. [Racked Inbox]
WEST 3RD STREET—Tomorrow night is the West Third Summer Stroll, which means that stores all along the street will stay open late to offer food, drinks and discounts to shoppers. Participating retailers include Alexis Bittar, Benefit, and Kathryn Amberleigh, who is advertising a by-two-get-one-free deal on shoes. Click here for a full list of who's involved. [Racked Inbox]
