Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Local beauty paradise Scent Bar, which curates rare and unique fragrances, recently moved to a bigger shop on Beverly and began selling its own original scents via its online arm, Luckyscent.com. Now, Scent Bar has taken one more step forward by partnering with Target.
Target will carry a line of four products (body wash, body butter, body mist, and body lotion) under the Scent Bar name. Each set is available in one of four scents: Blush (flirty, with hints of peony and champagne), Cabana (beachy, smells like Tahitian vanilla and tropical fruits), Forbidden (the sexy one, containing blackberry, pomegranate, and amber), and Sunswept (summery citrus with some bergamot for a twist).
The products will be available in Target stores and online soon. We can only assume that Scent Bar's next plan is world domination. Or at least a second location (pretty please?).
