Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Zack Tanck is fashion publicist who recently joined the team at Post + Beam. He also has a style site where he documents his style and inspiration, which he terms his "digital scrapbook." We had to find out where this eccentric personality gets his unique wardrobe. Thankfully, he filled us in.
"Vintage Wearhouse on Fairfax, right next to Canter's, is one of my favorite spots. Personally, I am a huge fan of vintage and love that when you find that special piece that you know no one else will have it. Vintage shopping is like a treasure hunt, and Vintage Warehouse has treasure aplenty. From authentic yet killer biker jackets (I have a huge weakness for a good biker jacket) to furs and statement jewelry, this place has it all. I recently found a pair of hammer pants here with a crazy neon 80's print that I am going to take to a tailor and have made into trousers. For one-of-a-kind, super-cool vintage pieces, this is my go-to..."
