Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Sahar Sanjar is the founding partner of La Chambre PR, a fashion PR firm that launched in August 2009. She works with clients like Elie Saab, Alice + Olivia, Alberta Ferretti, Joe's Jeans, and Ermenegildo Zegna and, in addition to all that, she's also a partner in two restaurants in Redondo Beach—Sophie's Place and The Grillfish. When she has time to take a break, she jumps in the car and hits up The Yellow Vase, a 3-in-1 shop that has become her favorite destination.

"While most people dash off to 'The 'Bu' every chance they get, I take a drive down to Rancho Palos Verdes, a beautiful green city resting on the cliffs of the P.V. Peninsula. One of the draws (of many) is The Yellow Vase in the Golden Cove Plaza. This is a unique family-owned cafe that serves delicious brioche french toast, flavorful mexicana omeletes, an amazing chicken panini and more. It's a great place to grab a aromatic cup of joe, a freshly baked cupcake, macaroons, an apple crunch bar (yum!) and enjoy an absolutely flawless view. Sound good? There is more. The Yellow Vase isn't just my favorite cafe, it's also my favorite flower boutique and gift shop. Yes, they are a full on floral studio and offer some cute gifts such as jewelry boxes, handmade aprons and more. It's my escape and I've caught myself spending hours there enjoying a meal, coffee, dessert, my book and the view."
