Uber-cool Chicago boutique Sofia (as seen here on the Racked 38 Chicago) has partnered with Bananabeat Records (founded by skinny long-haired rocker Cisco Adler, whose name might be familiar thanks to his romances with the likes of Kim Stewart, Mischa Barton and Paris Hilton) to open a summery pop-up shop at the Malibu Country Mart. The shop will carry limited-edition collabs from surf and skate label Freedom Artists and vintage clothes from Nov, plus goods from MINKPINK, Lightning Bolt, Oakley and more beach-friendly brands. In addition to exclusive merchandise, the Sofia folks promise lots of parties, live music, celebrity appearances and more. The opening party is slated for July 7th, but according to their Facebook page they'll be ready by this weekend.
