Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Costume designer Trayce Field was born and raised in LA, and throughout her career, she's been responsible for the on-camera looks of characters on Two Broke Girls, Nip/Tuck and Funny or Die Presents. She let us in on a little known secret—Luxe De Ville, her favorite Echo Park spot for extra-special jewelry.

"Luxe De Ville is my go-to place for one-of-a-kind jewelry. The owner, Oskar De La Cruz, creates most of it himself. The store itself is a visual inspiration and the window displays always tell a story. Luxe De Ville has vintage clothes, shoes, and accessories. I love to use pieces from this store to help create characters for the various projects I costume design."
