To kick off their major US expansion plan this year, American sportswear label GANT is set to grace Venice's Abbot Kinney with their vintage-inspired garments next month. The first West Coast GANT Rugger store will occupy 1308 Abbot Kinney Blvd, boasts 1,700 square feet and will feature GANT Rugger items as well as the men's and women's GANT by Michael Bastian collections.
To set the new shop apart from its East Coast counterpart on New York's Prince Street, the brand tells us that the space will include "light modernist touches while still maintaining a vintage feel. Décor will be clean and crisp mixed with a mid-century 1950’s style." GANT is working with local craftsmen and Rose Bowl flea market dealers to achieve this very specific look. Stay tuned for the official opening date.
