Now that you've achieved flawless skin and created the perfect floral headpiece, it's time to primp. If you can't afford a makeup artist or simply want to save cash, our go-to makeup guru and hair maven Erica Davidson has teamed up with her cousin Claire Thomas to create a two-part tutorial on how to achieve a studio-quality look at home. Here's Davidson's take:

"Prepping your skin for your wedding day is as important as applying the makeup. Eyebrow waxing and facials should be done a few days before to ensure skin sensitivity. You want your skin hydrated, so drink plenty of water leading up to the big day, especially if you're spending time celebrating with a cocktail (or three!). If your ceremony and/or reception takes place outside, make sure your moisturizer contains sunscreen. And if you plan on tanning, do a trial run one month before to see if you like the results. Your face should seamlessly match your neck, shoulders and décolletage, so make sure your current foundation is dark enough to match your new faux glow."

Beauty products and tools used in this video: Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Moiturizer SPF 15, Laura Mercier Foundation Primer, Urban Decay Eyeshadow primer potion, Make Up For Ever HD Foundation, Diorskin” Sculpt concealer, Smith’s Rosebud Salve, MAC concealer brush 195 and Shu Uemura Foundation brush 14.

Stay tuned tomorrow for Davidson's how-to on completing the look with wedding makeup!
