French-born Hedi Slimane is trading in Paris for Los Angeles. Vogue UK reports that the YSL creative director will be moving to our city and will design future collections from LA. Slimane, who's also a photographer, has already expressed his affection for Los Angeles: His black-and-white photo exhibit of residents, titled California Song, was on view in January at MOCA.
