Driftwood called Sunset Junction home for almost three years, but when Cafe Stella took over their space at 3938 Sunset they looked further east for a new storefront. The Eastsider LA spoke with shop owner David Browne about the relocation to Echo Park, which involved quite a bit of downsizing: The new boutique is just 15 feet by 12 feet, while the Sunset Junction space was 1,000 square feet. Browne said that the tighter quarters were a good thing, forcing him to "focus on higher-quality items." The boutique is stocked with a mix of vintage and new clothes and accessories and is open Tuesday through Sunday.
