If you're a fan of striped shirts, chances are you'd love Chance—the preppy-cool women's clothing line from former Kate Spade designer Julia Leach. Leach's collections hing on the striped shirt, and as anyone who's tried on one of her boatnecks can attest, her take on the classic is really perfect. The team of Barneys counts among her fans: Leach just Tweeted that the department store has picked up her fledgling line and will open a Chance pop-up at the Beverly Hills store this month as well as one at the NYC flagship. If Chance's aesthetic seems at once East Coast waspy and West Coast casual, that's because Leach keeps an enviable bi-costal lifestyle that sees her traveling often between the two cities.
