Most people associate the name Christian Louboutin with sexy, sky-high heels (all boasting that fire-engine-red sole), but Louboutin has also been designing men's shoes for the past few years. Right now there is only one freestanding Christian Louboutin men's store in the world, and it's in France. But very soon, one will open in New York City's Meatpacking District and it looks like Los Angeles will be next in line.
Rumors of the store, which we've heard recently, started with this WWD piece where a possible location was pinpointed: "the Christian Louboutin store on North Robertson Boulevard between Melrose Avenue and Santa Monica Boulevard. The two-story building has a freestanding structure behind it." Today, Louboutin hosted press previews of its fall/winter 2012 collection at the Robertson boutique, where a lot of men's offerings were on display—including high-top leather sneakers, tasseled ankle boots and studded loafers that we could see on the dandyish feet of one Scott Disick.
