In a post on her blog, Jenni Kayne takes some time to describe the making of her new Brentwood boutique, which she wanted to have a light, beachy vibe. "In front of the beam and wood wall, I floated a walnut rope chair that my friend Doug McCollough made for customers to sit and try on shoes. For lighting, I put in a great sconce and ceiling fixture from Specific Merchandise on Beverly Blvd here in Los Angeles. For the dressing rooms, I bought two satellite sconces from Schoolhouse Electric for either side of the leaning mirrors." She calls the space one of her favorites. [Rip + Tan; Previously]
