Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
A new e-shop has cropped up that sources from the crush-worthy closets of some of today's top digital darlings. Founded by two Harvard Business School Material Wrld (yes, sans "o") is an online auction marketplace that allows fellow fashion fiends to bid on designer items that their favorite bloggers, editors and tastemakers have personal stories for.
Launched this month, Material Wrld's debut sellers include blogger Denni Elias, DJ Mia Moretti and, our personal favorite, Closet Rich founder (and Racked LA friend) Elizabeth Kott. We're feeling her Erin Wasson x RVCA blouse, vintage Christian Dior silk gown and '70s Diane Von Furstenburg dress, above.
Sign up for Material Wrld today and—if your closet has what it takes—request to become a seller here.
