Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Dana Davis is the designer behind a namesake footwear collection born out of her search for stylish, fashion-forward shoes that won't kill your feet. Davis consults with a team of footcare professionals (including foot and ankle surgeons, podiatrists and pedorthists) to engineer each model in the collection according to her main two pillars: style and comfort. In time for Mother's Day, Davis filled us in on Anne Sisterson Fine Jewelry, her go-to source for accessories.
"I am a big fan of fine jewelry designer Anne Sisteron. Her showroom, Suite 105, is tucked away in a courtyard behind Canon Drive in Beverly Hills and is my go-to destination for finding both memorable gifts and my own great accessories. She has a gorgeous, well-priced collection of very modern and wearable jewelry made from pearls, diamonds and semi-precious stones. Anne is very down-to-earth—a working mom with two sons—and I love that she creates absolutely beautiful designs at all price points. It's a fun place to shop!"
