Roger Vivier's creative director Bruno Frisoni recently chatted with Los Angeles Confidential about the opening of the French accessories label's swank South Coast Plaza flagship. In addition to revealing some cool tidbits about the new shop (48-hour sales will take place for the brand's limited-edition line, Rendez-Vous), we learned that Frisoni is a super fan of Hollywood: "There is such a sexy energy about it. I also found it incredibly inspiring to be near the desert; it gives off a mood that feels free and nonchalant."
He goes on to explain why Cali was an obvious choice for their standalone store roster, which already includes New York and Miami: "I see California—and LA in particular—as a place of joy and humor, with long days of sun and long nights. This links perfectly with my collections, which are as joyful as Californians." Right back at ya, Frisoni.
