New Girl's Max Greenfield to Lead a Spin Class at SoulCycle

In a rare case of a viral video coming to life, New Girl actor Max Greenfield, aka Schmidt, will be teaching a class at West Hollywood spinning studio SoulCycle. A bit of backstory: Last week, entertainment blog Vulture posted a mockup they'd made of an imagined Schmidt workout DVD cover. Greenfield, inspired, decided to actually make a workout video as a goof, which he released on his own YouTube channel four days later. In it, Schmidt talks of his love of spinning and shows off his enviable physique (in some very tight spandex shorts).

Inspired in turn by Greenfield's video, SoulCycle has enlisted him for a charity ride on May 6th. Will he stay in character? Will Cece show up to watch him sweat? You'll have to sign up to see. Maybe they'll tape it and put it up on the Internet.
