Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

When Stephi Maron realized there wasn't a great place in LA to get her makeup done, she took matters into her own hands and launched Blushington, a salon where women can go for natural looking makeup applied by super-talented artists. But while she's prone to divulge her makeup secrets, she wasn't too fond of revealing her favorite Venice shopping destination...until now.
"Aviator Nation is truly a California secret! No tourist will find these cozy, retro, colorful clothes—not a chance! The store was started by Paige Mycoskie, the sister of Blake, the guy who founded TOMS. The space is cool and cozy and the clothes are super-comfortable with a vintage, laid-back feel. I have the unisex Flying Eagle hoodie and the unisex Day Dream sweatshirt, which I am obsessed with. I discovered Aviator Nation and was drawn inside due to the bold colors and appealing styles. Most importantly, I love the fact that not a lot of people know about Aviator Nation—so I definitely consider it my hidden spot!"
