Co-designers and childhood friends Kimberley Gordon and Emily Faulstich created Wildfox Kids back in 2009 after realizing that their LA-based knitwear brand, Wildfox Couture, needed a cute little sister. And just like that, they produced a young Hollywood-adored secondary line that's essentially a mini version of their womenswear, infused with playful graphic tees, loungewear, jumpers and leggings for girls ages four to 14.
For fall, Wildfox unveils a new collection of charming kidswear, complete with a lookbook that's as impeccably styled as their grown-up efforts. They've enlisted Violet Hume—the adorable platinum-coiffed offspring of model Kirsty Hume and actor-musician Donovan Leitch—to sport the too-cool looks while doing normal kid things like eating ice cream and playing with stuffed animals. Shot by Gordon and illustrated by Faulstich (how fun are those little cartoon creatures?), this might be our favorite Wildfox lookbook, ever.
Wildfox Kids fall 2012 is set to hit select Bloomingdale’s, Lester’s, Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom stores in late July.
