Along with business partner Karlygash Burkitbayeva, Robert Denning is the co-founder of Westward Leaning, a newly-launched line of luxury sunglasses based in San Francisco. Comprised of nine styles, the sunglasses each have a name and story in honor of a person, place or organization that has contributed to social progress. Though Denning and Burkitbayeva do most of their shopping in San Fran, whenever the duo lands in Los Angeles they head to Mameg in Brentwood. Why? Well, we'll let Robert fill you in...
"As much as we love San Francisco, we have to admit that we prefer shopping in Los Angeles. But we're always short on time in LA—we try to visit too many stores, end up getting overwhelmed and then feel guilty for not having seen everything. Which is why we love Mameg, which offers a curated assortment of amazing and unique objects all in one place. When you don't have the time or ambition to shop everything Los Angeles has to offer, Mameg is a great one-stop destination to satisfy you before you have to hop on a plane home. It gives you just the right amount of LA so you can leave happy but still excited to return."
