Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

Katie Goodwin is the head of entertainment and VIP relations for Bulgari. In a nutshell, she dresses actors for red carpet events and work on all things celebrity for Bulgari, including film festivals (Venice, Cannes, Rome), the Oscars, the BAFTAs, the Golden Globes, movie premieres and more. Basically, she's paid to put beautiful jewels on beautiful people (color us jealous). When she's not busy with Hollywood's elite, she can be spotted at Holly Flora in Culver City.
"Much like Ferdinand the Bull, I have always loved flowers. I love sending them and receiving them and the flower arrangements from Holly Flora are like art. I discovered Holly when my friend Bettina sent me an arrangement from their shop that was colorful and beautiful and it shockingly lived for almost a month. As much as I love flowers, I can't even keep plastic plants alive, so I was impressed with everything about this arrangement. The ladies who run Holly Flora are creative and knowledgeable and have whipped up arrangements for me around random directions ranging from 'midnight garden' to 'evil genius.' I am always impressed with the results. Visiting their shop on La Cienega is a fragrant and delightful experience, but the results are just as good if you email them and say you are looking for something 'pretty.'"
