If you didn't think a beauty brand could be badass, listen up: From March 29 through April 2, skincare company Kiehl's Since 1851 is coordinating a massive five-day motorcycle ride from Las Vegas to LA in support of amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research. The Desert Run for amfAR ride will be led by Kiehl’s president (and notable chopper enthusiast) Chris Salgardo and will feature riders like motorcycle designer Paul Cox, photographer Timothy White, and actor Grant Reynolds (husband to Good Day LA's Jillian Barberie).
Once they hit LA on April 1 at 3pm, the riders will make a stop at the Kiehl's store at The Grove to hydrate and pick up any community members that want to join the ride (that means you!). The group will then ride to the Kiehl's store on Robertson (100 N Robertson Blvd) from 4 to 4:30pm, where more fun will be had. Kiehl's will present a check for $25,000 to amfAR, biker buffs can view the various participating choppers (including Salgardo's custom Kiehl’s bike designed by Cox), and both riders and non-riders alike can purchase the Limited Edition Desert Run Set that features an assortment of the brand's best-selling travel size products (pictured).
If you're down to join the ride on April 1 (and obviously have a motorcycle license), e-mail CMcCarthy@Kiehls-usa.com for additional details.
