The day has finally come. Not only do we know what neighborhood the highly-anticipated Isabel Marant store is going to grace, but we now have an actual address. Following WWD's tease that the French designer with a cult-like following is indeed opening an LA boutique, the trade mag has just announced that the style sanctuary has set its sights on 8454 Melrose Place in West Hollywood.
With 2,500 square feet to fill with effortlessly chic clothing and accessories, the airy space is sure to revive the foot traffic that this spot lost during the financial crisis. "The leafy Melrose Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard connector became popular before the recession, but has been largely dormant due to downturn-induced retail real estate conservatism," WWD notes.
Since fellow French labels Vanessa Bruno and A.P.C. are also in the area, we're hoping that The Kooples follow suit to make Melrose our city's official French fashion destination.
