Earlier this week, we mentioned that popular Aussie activewear label Lorna Jane is gearing up to launch their first stateside boutique in Malibu. Angelenos give this news a resounding thumbs up, especially now that spring is underway and we all wouldn't mind sprucing up our fitness 'fits for outdoor workouts.
To add to the excitement, founder Lorna Jane Clarkson reached out to us to exclusively reveal more details on her brand's big West Coast push. Here's what she had to say about choosing LA:
“My husband and I have spent some time in LA and we always thought that if one day we expanded the brand internationally, then California would be a great destination. LA's laid-back attitude is very similar to the Australian way of life, and people who live there are typically into health and fitness. Also, USA's west coast is the closest to Australia, so it makes sense for us to be there. It's only one flight away and relatively easy for us to go back and forth.”
Here are the confirmed store opening dates:
· Malibu Lumber Yard: Saturday, March 10
· Marina del Rey: Tuesday, May 15
· Santa Monica Place: Monday, May 21
