Steve Wozniak, one of the co-founders of Apple, is in LA for a keynote speech. While visiting, he decided to line up outside of the Apple store in Century City for today's iPad 3 release. Woz was first in line. As he explains to Shira Lazar, it's become a "ritual" for him to line up for Apple releases. "It's not something you have to do," he says in the above interview. "Nobody has to wait in line. You can preorder." Also, if you're Steve Wozniak you can probably get your iPads in advance, for free. But as he says, he'd rather line up with other Apple fans.
Apple Century City opened at 8am this morning for the launch. A sales associate at the store says they have plenty of iPad 3s left and a very short line.
