Yesterday was a busy one. Between COEUR Show and Skingraft's sporty runway, we found the time to catch a festive dinner honoring stylist extraordinaire Brad Goreski and his new memoir, Born to Be Brad.
The event, held in the Terrace Room of the swanky Sunset Tower Hotel, was hosted by Kate Spade New York's president and creative director Deborah Lloyd (Goreski is the brand's exclusive stylist) and attended by lots of pretty people, including the stylist's client Jessica Alba, as well as Minka Kelly, Mandy Moore, and Ahna O’Reilly. While the scrumptious food, Goreski-cloned waitstaff, and Kate Spade goody bags were more than enough entertainment, guests also went home with stick props of Goreski's signature thick-framed glasses.
As for the guest of honor, Goreski had a blast mingling with friends and loved ones (including his boyfriend, TV writer and producer, Gary Janetti), loving the spotlight but seemingly humbled by it all. Unfortunately we didn't see him drop any of his signature happy tears, but his thank you speech did include some tear-shedding qualities: "This is a crazy dream come true. I really can't believe that all of you are here for me! I couldn't have done it without my amazing assistants Lindsay, Thomas, and Hannah."
