A few weeks ago, scent emporium Le Labo quietly opened the doors to its second Los Angeles shop at 1138 1/2 Abbot Kinney. With tin walls and reclaimed fixtures (like an old pressing table used to display the perfumes), the boutique has the same vintage industrial feel as the brand's West 3rd Street and other locations. The shop offers Le Labo's scent collection, hand-poured candles and lotions, all printed with the brand's chic, utilitarian black-and-white labels. Unique to the Venice location will be a lounge in back featuring the McNally book collection and a photo booth—the lounge is in the works now and should be completed within the next two months.
