Los Angeles has more stores than anyone could physically tackle, but somehow we always keep returning to the usual suspects. To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Cue the Beatles: We're about to get a little help from our friends.

If you've looked at a billboard recently, you've probably seen Anthony Anderson's face—the green-living model has posed for the likes of Tommy Hilfiger, Hugo Boss, Target and Kohl's. In addition to traveling the world for his career, he's recently launched Raw Model, a website where he documents everything from the benefits of eating coconuts in Punta Cana to tips for spotting a Korean nut pine tree in NYC. He turned us onto Dragon Herbs, a spot in Santa Monica that has the best ginseng lemonade he's ever tasted.
"I love Ron Teegaurden's Dragon Herbs because most people don't know about it and they also don't realize what a rich experience it is walking inside its doors. Ron is a true master and the place has so much character—it’s just like being in an herbal class simply by ordering some tea. I discovered Dragon Herbs through David Wolfe and the Longevity Now crew and the shop just has the most potent quality and the staff really cares about helping people. The atmosphere is so inviting and simply by going inside, the experience turns into a personal classroom from either Ron or one of the herbalists on site. My favorite thing to buy is the Ginseng Lemonade. I'm hooked."
