Thanks to Jewish Journal we're able to peek inside the home of designer Shelli Segal, who lives with her husband, artist Moshé Elimelech, in Burbank. The article is mostly about Elimelech, but does include an interesting tidbit regarding Segal; she dropped out of Purchase College after losing one of her fingers to an accident involving a circular saw, and then went on to enroll at the Mayer School of Fashion Design where she began her career.
