Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Today, DailyCandy highlights Echo Park newcomer The Dog Show, a vintage shop with a unique point of view and two kooky owners. The store, which per a quick Google opened in November, is the work of bffs Anna Dewey Greer and Christine Stormberg.

The focus of The Dog Show is clothing from the '80s and '90s like crazily-printed tops and acid-wash jeans. The theme extends to the decor—the pink space features a wall of hair (that's decorated with colorful clips to boot) and a unicorn head mounted on the exterior over the front door. Let's turn to Vice for some additional color: "Basically you walk in and it’s like a girl stuff explosion, pink, glitter, bright colors, big hair, designer scrunchies, giddy, freaky almost to the point of scary yet still totally positive girl power-y, and not like some fucking creepy arrested development four-year-old girl princess fairy shit."

Right on. If that description speaks to you, the place is open Tuesday through Sunday from 11am to 7pm.
