Jill Alexander came up with the concept of The Divorcee Sale after witnessing several divorced friends trying to shed the literal baggage of their failed relationships. Alexander convinced other divorced women to donate designer shoes, bags, clothes and jewelry from their past lives for a recurring sale, with a portion of the proceeds to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Her now biannaul event returns to LA this Friday night at 8457 Melrose Ave; the pop-up sale will be open for at least a week from noon to 7pm daily.

We hit the sale last year and were impressed with the offerings—this time around they promise to be as fabulous as before. Expect clothes from blue-chip labels like Chanel, Pucci, Stella McCartney and DVF; and Chanel, Gucci and Lanvin bags for 50 to 70% off retail, plus Celine, Miriam Haskell and Chanel jewelry priced from $50 all the way up to $7,500.

Alexander is selling tickets to the opening party here—sign up soon for early access.
