Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Brenna Egan is the new editor of Refinery 29's LA site, and has previously worked as a stylist and at Vogue and OK! magazines. As you might assume, she's accumulated quite a bit of clothing over the course of that career and she's shared some her favorite finds with Closet Visit.
In addition to naming her style icons (Diana Vreeland, Kelly Wearstler, Phyllis Neffler, the Olsen twins) and her favorite designers (too many to list) she reveals her LA shopping sources to the site: "Creatures of Comfort, TenOverSix, and Opening Ceremony are my fave physical storefronts. For vintage, Resurrection, The Way We Wore, and a super secret warehouse that isn't open to the public (sorry!). Other than that, it's wherever is having a sale! I live for the Barneys Warehouse Sale for my year's shoe staples..." Wonder how she fared at this year's debacle?
