At J.Crew's Fall 2012 presentation this morning, it was revealed that the brand has landed creative director Jenna Lyons' dream collab partner: Manolo Blahnik. A pretty impressive feat, and one that she's been working on since at least 2010 when she told Fashionista, "What we’d really like to do, especially for women’s, is a shoe collaboration where we maybe go to someone like Manolo Blahnik or Christian Louboutin."
The most expensive shoe right now on jcrew.com is their Valentina pump in red snakeskin for $425; we assume that the Manolos will run at least a $100 more. According to a Tweet from WWD, the styles will be sold online only.
