Iconic shoe brand Converse has opened the doors to its third US location on the 3rd Street Promenade in Santa Monica. The store, which officially debuted on Saturday, spans 7,000 square feet and is filled with sneakers, clothes and accessories for men, women and children. According to a brand rep, it is the broadest assortment of Converse in the world.

At the front of the store is a customization area, where shoppers can put their own designs onto everything from shoes to hoodies. Converse "maestros," aka graphic designers, are on hand to assist with the process. Afterward, the customization continues with colored laces, grommets, zipper pulls and drawstrings.

The brand's entire shoe range—more than 230 styles—is on offer, from the classic canvas low and high tops to colorful options from Marimekko and dressier looks from John Varvatos. There's also a full selection of clothing, including skinny jeans, leather moto jackets, tees and hoodies; plus watches, sunglasses, bracelets, keyrings and books. It's all pretty affordable, too: footwear ranges in price from $50 to $175 while most of the apparel is under $100. Click through our gallery, above, to take a spin around the space.
