PALISADES—Boutique owner Elyse Walker sat down with Stylelist for a quick Q&A in which she revealed a few of her celebrity clients ("Kate Beckinsale and Jennifer Garner are regulars. Kate Beckinsale is like me and loves high heels that make your legs look longer. Jennifer likes to stay comfortable in sweaters.") and a surprising shoplifter tell. Regarding the latter, she says: "Sometimes people come in all dressed up, like they have to fit into the store, and sometimes those are the people we watch out for. Most shoplifters are all dressed-up." [Stylelist]
ECHO PARK—Everyone's having Valentine's Day parties this weekend. Our favorite lady-designer-focused boutique, Myrtle, is hosting a shindig from 2 to 6pm Saturday with free espresso from Handsome Coffee Roasters and "special Valentine's cookie boxes" courtesy of Matchbox Kitchen. [Racked Inbox]
HOLLYWOOD—Style Section LA did some recon over the weekend, popping by the Space 15 Twenty blogger yardsale on Sunday. Apparently, the event "was successful enough to merit a Round Two on March 24." Click to their recap for photos and additional color. [SSLA]
