How crazy is it that the LA-based jean geniuses at J Brand have their very own LA outlet store yet no full-priced boutiques? Well, thanks to a $300 million cash infusion by Japan's Fast Retailing (they bought 80% of the company), the brand is planning its very first flagship with more to follow.
According to a report in WWD this morning, "the company will likely cut the ribbon on a Los Angeles flagship next year" and will also expand with handbag and shoe lines. As for where they'll plant it, there's no word yet—we're guessing Melrose Avenue or Robertson Boulevard. Thoughts, anyone?
