In a 2010 LA Times article about the remodel of her Hollywood Hills home, C&C California co-founder Claire Stansfield spoke of her love of decorating. Now, it seems that her private passion is becoming an actual business. Stansfield's first public decor project is the newly-opened restaurant and bar Hyperion Public in Silver Lake. The rustic space, which is partially owned by her husband, was profiled recently on Remodelista.
According to the blog post, Stansfield sourced much of the fixturing from Big Daddy's Antiques, working with the shop's owner to find the massive wooden table at the middle of the space as well as the wicker lamps, wire shelving and bar stools. House numbers purchased at Heath Ceramics and chairs from Ikea completed the look. Head here for more photos and where to buy similar items; for a lively discussion on whether the place is worth visiting, click to our friends over at Eater.
