Celebrity stylists Emily Current and Meritt Elliott are leaving the label they founded with retail guru Serge Azria in 2008. Azria, whose claims to fame also include Joie and the relaunched Equipment, currently serves as the CEO and creative director of the label (whose about page now bears no mention of Emily and Merritt).
The duo, who cited no reason for the split, released this statement: "We are so proud of what we have accomplished with Current/Elliott. Parting ways has been a difficult decision, but we are thrilled for our next chapter in design and to perpetuate our whimsical Americana aesthetic across multiple categories."
