To break out of the rut, we've asked some local shopping and fashion gurus to provide their hidden retail gems—those unique stores around LA that we might not all know about. Arthur Soloyan is an interior decorator and the owner of deLight LA, a showroom and boutique that stocks everything from furniture to exquisite chandeliers (at very affordable prices). Here, he points us to one of his go-to shops, JVB Interiors.

"JVB Interiors is one of the best kept secrets on La Brea and it is situated in the up-and-coming pocket of La Brea and Melrose. What I like most about JVB Interiors is their selection. It is truly unexpected how well they mix vintage with new and custom-made items as well as exquisitely hand-carved furnishings. I recently purchased macassar ebony boxes with lucite tops (as a set of three, but they can be purchased individually as well). I love them and I keep my Hermes bracelets in them. I believe that special items deserve a special place in your home."
